The Meaning of Being a Coach
As a young team coach for the soccer game, Leopoldo Lares Argeniz Azuaji must have all he needs to be a perfect coach. He needs to have determination, passion, and also the right talent to motivate and encourage his teams.
One motivation that he gives to the team is about winning and losing a game. From numerous numbers of soccer games that he had watched, he learned himself something, that winning and losing does not come from the outside, but it does come from the inside. He encourages every single team that he coached that if they decide to pour all their passion and effort to the team, somehow they will find a way and there will always be one golden opportunity to win. But, by the time they decide to give up their heart and determination to win, that is the very time they lose the game. If somehow the team faces one opponent that better in every way, their skills, technique, and team-work, the team must always think positively and consider the very game as one lesson to study the opponent’s experienced skills and techniques, to be later used against other teams.
This is what he always teaches to every young team, so that they will compete in one positive mind and whenever they fall, they can learn to pick their selves up.
