In a Difficult Position

Recently I was in a very difficult position; My cousin’s daughter had an accident with her bicycle, nothing too serious but she broke her leg. The problem in the whole story is that my cousin asked if he could take his money back, a 1000$ which he had given me 3 weeks ago, so he can get his little girl to the hospital to fix the leg. That happened the same day with the accident. I got a call from him saying that he wanted this amount back. The problem was that I have told him I would repay him within 2 weeks from the first day he gave me the loan. But you know the chain in these things. I used the 1000 to pay for my merchandise, to get it from my supplier, he was a bit late, he didn’t deliver it on time so I was in consequence late in gathering the same amount back by selling my product. Hence I couldn’t repay my cousin on time. So now you see why and how I was in a difficult position. So what was I to tell my cousin, that I couldn’t help him with his daughter? I had to get 1000 and fast. I called two good friends of mine but they had their own problems so they couldn’t help. One at least helped me a lot by providing me with a very helpful info regarding a site that I should visit and find the solution that would take me out of this difficult position I got myself into.
